Centered in the village of Bistagaon in the Kathmandu Valley the focus of this project was to assist the local people with the design and construction of 22 earthquake resistant houses for victims of the devastating earthquakes of April 25, 2015. We are pleased to say that the project was a rousing success as evidenced by the village wide celebration in mid-December of this year. By applying our core values of sustainability and community involvement this project will continue to live on as a core group of Bistagaon residents begin construction on two of our model homes in a neighboring village in the Kathmandu Valley.
